How Hot is Too Hot? »

January 28, 2006 by shilohwalker

Joni’s post on the Scamps, Vamps & Spicy Romance about her gorgeous hot tub got me thinking about the things we dream for. And I thought it would be fun to share some of those things.

What would you like, but you don’t think you’ll ever have?
What would like and you hope to have someday?
What would you like and are willing to sacrifice big time to get in the next year or two?
What would you like and you plan to get soon without the big sacrifice?

Here are my answers:
What would you like, but you don’t think you’ll ever have?
A castle or a villa as a part time residence.
What would like and you hope to have someday?
My children’s happiness. What would you like and are willing to sacrifice big time to get in the next year or two?
A hot tub (the kids aren’t the only ones who want it LOL).
What would you like and you plan to get soon without the big sacrifice?
A toaster oven for my office.
Your answers don’t have to be limited to material things…this is about sharing the desires of our hearts and those aren’t even always measurable.

Hugs,
Lucy

Okay I will answer (or try to)!

What would you like, but you don’t think you’ll ever have?
I dream of having a brand new house (or mansion) with a large library (similar to the one in Beauty and the Beast…LOL).

What would like and you hope to have someday?
A good job doing something that I enjoy and that makes me happy.

What would you like and are willing to sacrifice big time to get in the next year or two?
I would like to lose weight or get a Palm (LOL). I would be willing to sacrifice for either of these things.

What would you like and you plan to get soon without the big sacrifice?
Some books (you can never have too many…LOL) or a bookshelf.

These are probably not the kind of answers you were looking for, but I thought that I would try and answer.

    Hmmm.. I’ll take a stab…

I don’t know about each individual question. I would love to have money and time enough to take several different family vacations. I want to get out to Denali (Alaska) and out west.

I would love a trip down under to Australia and New Zealand (would do this without kidlets) and a trip to Antarticia to see the penquins.

Given time, money and energy I want to go back to school.

Okay I will have to give this a try:

What would you like, but you don’t think you’ll ever have?

Money to be able to do the travelling to some of the places I have heard so much about and would love to see, upgrading of my house, and buying a new car (presently driving a truck that is 25 years old).

What would like and you hope to have someday?

A chance to go to one of the conferences and to meet with all my online friends.

What would you like and are willing to sacrifice big time to get in the next year or two?

I would like to get a laptop computer that I could take with me anywhere.

What would you like and you plan to get soon without the big sacrifice?

This is a tough one for me, but I would think that it would have to be getting the windows replaced which in the end will save money. Crazy I know, but I think that would be the most reasonable way to go.

    1) A round the world trip
    2) Pay off all my debts
    3) Get my health in shape
    4) A vacation to Europe

Okay, this is going to bring out my superficial side, but I gotta be honest.

What would I like, but don’t think I’ll ever have? Gotta go with the whole castle idea. I was at my p/t job yesterday and there was a book on castles – like the magical one that Disney based their on – and I just sighed in longing, wishing I was a princess. But imagine keeping that heap warm!

What would I like and hope to have someday? children. I would prefer to find the man of my dreams (or at least someone I can put up with – lol) and have them. Otherwise I’ve always thought, since I was probably around 9 or 10, then I would like to adopt. God bless people who have already given a child a must-needed home filled with love.

What would I like and am willing to sacrifice big time to get in the next year or two? A nice house/condo and money to decorate it.

What would you like and plan to get soon without the big sacrifice?
Another cruise or trip somewhere warm.

What would you like, but you don’t think you’ll ever have?
    * All my Family living close to me or ar least withing reasonable distance.
What would like and you hope to have someday?
    * Time and money to go back to school and finish my degree.
What would you like and are willing to sacrifice big time to get in the next year or two?
    * A hot Tub! LOL You are not the only one that wants one Lucy! LOL

What would you like and you plan to get soon without the big sacrifice?
    * I really dont have a clue! Even when this is supposed to be the easier one. Maybe is because when you whant something there is always a sacrifice involved. Oh Well! I clould say go to see my baby niece in New Mexico.

    Very tough questions…

What would you like, but you don’t think you’ll ever have?
A new house, but I probably won’t because, despite the lack of storage & space in ours, I really love the coziness of an old home.

What would like and you hope to have someday?
A romantic adventure with my husband.

What would you like and are willing to sacrifice big time to get in the next year or two?
To have one of my books published. I’m willing to sacrifice anything, but my family to make this dream come true.

What would you like and you plan to get soon without the big sacrifice? A new garage and to revamp the outside of our house and our yard.

Ooo. Great topic! Here’s what I’d say (at the moment):

What would you like, but you don’t think you’ll ever have?
A Porsche! It’s my dream car, but I think I’d be too paranoid to drive it or park it anywhere because of potential damage or theft!

What would like and you hope to have someday?
A house with a big back yard (like my parents have and I grew up with).

What would you like and are willing to sacrifice big time to get in the next year or two?
Out of debt! Now that grad school is coming to an end, I’m going into shock at how much just these last two years of full time school have cost:S Of course, first comes finding a full time job:)

What would you like and you plan to get soon without the big sacrifice?
Hmmm…not sure. Possibly a telephoto zoom lens for my digital camera or maybe an iPod.
