There’s simply not enough time.

Kudos to you for getting some work done. If anything gets done around here, it’s just because I’m procrastinating on a story :)

Sometimes it's hard to get all the family together. We're actually celebrating the weekend before Christmas. It's the spirit of the season that really matters. Have yet to shop, but then don't have a lot of money this year to do much with because I'm spending it on two round-trip tickets for my son and I to go spend Christmas with my father in Florida who would otherwise be spending it alone. I couldn't let that happen, so soon after losing my mother. My hubby has to work because he's the only government guy there - the rest are contractors. He works for the Dept of the Navy. He'll be spending Christmas with one of his brother's and my daughter is spending it with her bf's family. I know, not what a family should do every year, but necessary this year. So I won't be doing a lot of decorating of the house as I usually do since no one will be here to enjoy it. Instead I'll be setting up a tree for my father at his home, adorning it with all the ornaments my mother would have placed on it. All in all, it will still be a memorable time spent with loved ones!
