Cold Winter Nights…

It’s that time of year, my chickies… time to get between the covers (of a book!) with some hot and hunky men. Yummy heroes are in season any time of year, but what better opportunity to catch up on your “guy quota”, than by making January your “Men To Die For” month???
I’m planing to read a few more of the “In Death” series and get my Roarke fix. And I also plan to dig into some of the wonderful historicals in my TBR pile. So many books and men… so little time…
So tell me ladies… now that the nights are long, dark, and cold, what books are at the top of your TBR pile??
And yes - the photo above is shameless promotion! The Perfect Ten came out a week and a half ago, and if you have a chance to pick it up, I hope you enjoy it!
And you know I have to talk about my two cutie pies… Christmas was lots of fun with little ones to add excitement!
Don’t forget to let me know some books that are stacked up beside your bed!
Can’t wait to hear your recommendations…

I found Perfect Ten this weekend at Waldenbooks so that’s on my nightstand and in the mail today I received The Accidental Vampire by Lynsay Sands for review. I’ve never read her so that should be interesting. Currently reading Riding Wild by Jaci Burton for review (so far it’s really good!), and also have some other review books - Pleasure Exchange by Cathryn Fox and The Seduction of Shamus O’Rourke by NJ Walters. I’m also half way through Jamie Denton’s latest Blaze called My Guilty Pleasure and it’s been a long time since I’ve read a Blaze, but I picked this one up since it’s by Jamie. I’d forgotten how HOT these books are! I still haven’t found Trick My Truck by LuAnn but I’m still looking. February has some good releases too!
I just finished The Perfect Ten by Janice Maynard, Jill Shavis’s Strong and Sexy. And LuAnn’s Trick my truck.
To be read Lori Foster Hard to Handle and Joann Ross’s Free fall
On my tbr pile are Julie Garwood’s “Shadow Music,” “Edge of Midnight” by Shannon McKenna and several books by Debra Webb.
I’ve read “Perfect 10″ and loved it. Also read “Strong and Sexy” - Jill is a fave of mine. Now I’m heavily into re-reads - “Kingdom of Dreams” by Judith McNaught. I also just started “North & South” by Elizabeth Gaskell.
I am currently reading an ARC of Hot & Bothered by Dianne Castell. I also have Jamie Denton’s “My Guilty Pleasure” on my nightstand. I also have a whole list of books to pick up this weekend at the bookstore and I will be adding “The Perfect Ten”. Have a great day.
Wow - you all are giving me some great ideas. I am really excited about February, because I can’t wait to read Lori’s Hard to Handle and JoAnn’s Freefall.
Last night I finished Jacquie D’ Allessandro’s “Confessions at Midnight”. It’s about a woman whose first husband died and she thinks she’ll never find love again. A very charming and fun book.

Nice - I can’t even spell my own name… sheesh!
I am currently re-reading Wolf Tales IV, in preparition for Kate’s next release, winging it’s way to me as we speak. Then there is Sasha White’s, Wicked, Jeaniene Frost’s, Halfway to the Grave and Elizabeth Lowell’s, Innocent as Sin.
Janice, that’s a darling picture of your granddaughters. It looks like they had a wonderful Christmas.
I finished Strong and Sexy by Jill Shalvis not too long ago and really enjoyed it. Can’t wait to read the next book in the series. I’m currently reading Overexposed by Leslie Kelly. I bought LuAnn McLane’s Trick My Truck But Don’t Mess With My Heart during my winter break, and it looks like an interesting read. I also recently purchased a few books by Megan Hart that I’m looking forward to reading.
